We caught up with Richmond yoga instructor, Carolin-Marie Roth, to learn more about her, the type of yoga she practices, and to see what she thinks of our new leisurewear collection Braintree BE.

Carolin of EnjoYoga has practised Yoga for 35 years and uses a combination of all different styles in her classes and workshops. She also gives private lessons at her studio in Teddington or at her students’ home and her dream of offering yoga workshops abroad will soon become reality when she and her husband finish building their yoga retreat in Mallorca!

Carolin believes that yoga is the best thing that ever happened to her. Read on for an interview with Carolin and stay tuned because she’ll be demonstrating some of her favourite yoga poses here on the blog in the near future and explaining what they do and why they’re so beneficial!

What is your favourite type of yoga to practice and why?

I prefer to teach and practice a variety of different styles. I call it yoga flow with precision and in harmony with your breath.

How has yoga changed or benefited your lifestyle?

Yoga is my life. I feel balanced, confident and strong. And it helps me when I feel down, insecure and weak.

What advice would you give to a yoga beginnner?

My top tip would be to choose your yoga teacher carefully. A good teacher should provide a service, not a self demonstration.

What do you like to wear while doing yoga?

I like to wear comfortable and soft materials.

Which are your favourite items from the Braintree BE range?

I am wearing my favourite pieces today… (see photo) The natural colour Zoe Lee Tee and the pale chambray colour Zoe Lee Slacks in 55% Hemp 45% Organic Cotton Jersey.

Why are the Braintree Be pieces well-suited for yoga?

The Braintree Be collection is perfect for practising yoga because the pieces feel comfortable, are non-restricting, and look good too!
