60 seconds with Nina...
As part of our ‘Meet the Team’ blog segment, once a week we’ll be picking on a different Braintree team member and carrying out our sixty second interview so that you can get to know us all a little better! This week we caught up with our Braintree HQ intern, Nina…
Favourite part of working at Braintree… is getting an insight into all the different aspects that keep a fashion company running.
When I was younger, I dreamt of being… a cartoon illustrator for Walt Disney because I was such a big fan of all the Disney movies.
My one fashion rule to live by… I always wear one piece that makes my outfit special and catches the eye. That can be anything from a beautiful necklace, some rings, a bag or cool shoes, to an oversized scarf or a hat. It just depends on how I feel that day.
My most prized item of clothing is… my favourite bag from Maison Scotch.
A hidden talent… is sewing (though it’s not really hidden)
The one thing in my bag I couldn’t live without… is my lip balm. I brought it with me from Austria.
If I was a shoe… I’d be a pair of boots from Jeffrey Campbell.
My worst fashion faux pas… When I was younger I bought ugg boots in lilac. I still have them, just to have a good laugh at them sometimes.
Favourite London Landmark… would be all the nice parks where you can spend time in the nature. And Shoreditch area to explore all the cool shops and markets there.
Ultimate holiday destination… To travel through Australia, my big dream for years.
Today I’m wearing… trousers, a black top, my flower printed tunic, a necklace and boots.
On the lunch menu today… Minestrone soup, the best for cold days.
Favourite radio station… BBC Radio.
My style icons include… Kate Lanphear (Style Director of US ELLE), Nicole Richie, Chloe Nørgaard and Gwen Stefani.
My favourite Braintree purchase ever… is the Rango Check Shirt for my dad as a Christmas present. He’ll love it.
From the current Braintree collection, I’ll be wearing… the Be Slouch Cardigan in Blue Mist. It’s comfortable, keeps you warm and is stylish at the same time.
Highlight of working at Braintree so far… I’m really looking forward to the photo shoot in November, this is sure to become my highlight then!
