Inkkas at Camden Lock
Last month I had a chat with Ana and Phillipa from the Braintree Hemp Store in Camden Lock to discover more about the store makeover, their new season favourites, and what’s new in Camden town in our “Spring has sprung in Camden” blog post.
However, there was one new collection at the Braintree Camden store that particularly caught my eye…
When asking Phillipa what was new in the shop this season, she replied…
“We’ve most recently had in a new range of Inkkas ethical trainers which included some new low-top trainer styles. Our first collection of Inkkas sold so well last year that we wanted to include so new summer styles this time around.”
Which have been the best-selling style so far?
“Our best selling pair have been the ‘Concrete Jungle‘ style. Customers are always drawn to the bright colours and unique designs!”
What kind of customer feedback has the Inkkas collection received?
“Braintree customers really love the ethos behind the brand. They love how they are all handmade, and they particularly like how a portion of the proceeds of the sale of the shoes are donated to Amazon rainforest charities.”
Which pair are your personal favourite?
“My favourite style would have to be the Bluebird Low Top Inkkas. I love the unqiue, colourful aztec, zigzag, and stripe design details and these new low-top styles will be perfect for casual wear during the summer months ahead.”
Inkkas are a socially conscious shoe company, founded on the principles of fair trade, philanthropy, and authenticity. Therefore, all Inkkas trainers are made under fair-trade practices by artisans in Peru. These ethical shoes are also 100% vegan – they never contain animal products.
