Organic Beauty Week: Our Top Tutorials
Organic September is the UK’s biggest celebration of all things organic. It’s the Soil Association’s initiative, created to raise awareness of just how easy it is to make small changes that make a big difference to you and the planet.
It’s also Organic Beauty Week, so I’ve rounded-up some of my favourite DIY beauty tricks using all-natural, organic ingredients. They’re are as good for the planet as they are your skin. Feel pampered from top-to-toe with these easy homemade recipes…
“By choosing organic we can all support a kinder, greener and better beauty industry – from more bees and hedgerows to better worker welfare, and shorter more trustworthy supply chains.”
– The Soil Association

Take a moment to think about what you can do to support #OrganicSeptemeber. A small change to your skincare routine can make a big change to the environment as well as to you. It is thought that we absorb up to 60% of what we put on our skin, so natural organic skincare will ensure you are not absorbing any parabens, petrochemicals, artificial colours or preservatives into your bloodstream.
If you’re looking for organic beauty products whilst shopping, remember to look for the Soil Association logo on packaging, along with a percentage of organic ingredients, which should all be clearly displayed. Check out the Soil Association’s handy guide to organic beauty product labelling here.
