It’s September! And with it comes the arrival of a blustery new season, as well as a change in our wardrobes. Since our new Autumn 18 collection is here, I’ve caught up with Rachel, our Creative Director to uncover her top ethical clothing picks from the collection, along with some simple style tricks. Over to Rachel…

Catherine Trousers

We are known for creating flattering, comfortable trousers – this new-season style is chic and easy to wear, with comfortable pockets. The smooth blend of Modal and bamboo makes these Catherine Trousers even more luxe. I’d wear them with a simple white shirt or blouse for the office.

Sasha Dress

I love using hemp fabric throughout our collections. It’s a more sustainable answer to linen and it wears and washes like a dream. This easy fabric is elevated on our Sasha Dress, with beautifully detailed embroidery that our team hand-designed here in our studio. A keep-forever piece. Pair it with your favourite flats for an effortless, on-the-go look.

Olivia Cardigan Coat

I collect our hero cardigans. They are made with our signature luxe wool and organic cotton yarn, and Laura, our Head Knitwear Designer meticulously draws out each pattern. These pieces are imbued with our care for creativity and uniqueness, and are totally exclusive. I’d throw on the Olivia Cardi over my favourite jeans and a blouse for an easy, elevated weekend style.

Tapestry Skirt

I LOVE this piece! Mark our Head of Design worked with his partner Richard to hand-paint the print in a symphony of rich, deep colour. It’s a true work of art, placed on the season’s best skirt shape, the midi. Embrace this midi length – it’s chic and surprisingly easy to wear. And take pride in wearing our unique, exclusive-to-Thought print!

Katka Blouse

We hand drew the design for our bespoke, Katka Blouse. The organic cotton fabric is soft to wear and I love how feminine and floaty the shape is. I’ll be wearing this blouse with our Painters Culottes or the Martha Jeans – so pretty, so easy.

Thank you Rachel!
