This past weekend, Smart Works hosted their annual charity sale to raise money to help unemployed women find work, in association with Stella Magazine and hosted at Somerset House. The event sold out instantly with lines out the door, one group of women had come from Wales to attend the now-famous sale!

Thought had the exciting opportunity to be involved by selling and donating 1500 pairs of socks to help raise money for the incredible cause. The fabulous teams at Smart Works and Stella Magazine did an amazing job creating a beautiful space for eager shoppers to find a designer bargain and support a worthy cause.

We’re ecstatic to announce that thanks to all their shopping, Smart Works raised £90,000!

Smart Works are an incredible charity that provides support to aspiring out of work women – through interview training and head-to-toe dressing. They have offices in some of the UK’s major cities and have a great success rate in giving their clients the confidence to secure employment.

Every season we are now donating all of our unworn production samples and a selection of our current range of Thoughtful Clothing, which enables them to offer more choice to their clients and set them up for success.

Thought has been working with Smart Works for nearly 5 years and we’re so honoured to be involved with this amazing organisation. Keep scrolling to discover some photographs from the day…
