Ladies of style: 4 must-see London exhibitions

One of the best things about London, where our office is based, is that there are so many museums and art galleries to explore - and they're usually free. It's something we take for granted and probably don't enjoy often enough. So with that in mind, why not make topping up on culture a priority this summer? Here are four inspirational London exhibitions that, whether you're a local or planning a day trip, are already open or coming soon that I think you'll really love.   Must-See London Exhibitions - Ladies in style

Fashion on the ration: 1940's Street Style

Women and men of the 40s transformed bleak austerity into somewhat of an enviable creative streak. It was a time of darning (which we'll talk about more, soon!) and the coining of the phrase "make do and mend". See some of the carefully preserved clothing, and learn of the innovative lengths people went to in order to dress as immaculately as possible. Imperial War Museum, open now until 31st August Find out more:   Must-See London Exhibitions - Ladies in the arts

The Ey Exhibition: Sonia Delaunay

If you love abstract art like I do, head to the Tate Modern to take in huge canvases of kaleidoscopic colour. This major retrospective of Sonia's work showcases textiles and clothes as well as paintings that the artist and designer made during her sixty-year career. Tate Modern, 15th April - 19th August. Sculpture for a modern world, Barbara Hepworth

Audrey Hepburn, Portraits of an icon

Few females have made as lasting an impact on the world of style as Audrey. Her inimitable, often copied style is illustrated in this dedicated exhibition of photographs, film stills and vintage magazines. National Portrait Gallery, 2nd July - 18th October Find out more:   Are any of these on your must-see list already? Maybe you have tickets for another culture fix?
