Maybe you’re feeling the need for a culture fix, or perhaps you’re simply looking for something to do? Either way, I’ve rounded up a few fun events and exhibitions around the country for you to enjoy. There’s something for the art fan as well as all of the family. Here goes…

1. Painting the Modern Garden, London
See first hand the great artists’ interpretations of the garden, including masterpieces from Renoir and Cezanne, to Kandinsky, Matisse and more. We’ll be heading along for a little print inspiration. 2. Magic Lantern Festival, London
A UK premier right in the heart of the ground of Chiswick House Gardens, this family friendly spectacle promises life size and giant lanterns in all manners of fauna and flora. Tickets have already been snapped up for this event so be quick if you don’t want to miss out. When: Evenings from 5pm. 3. Henry Moore's Sculptures, Hertfordshire
Visit the iconic sculptor’s former home, studios, and wander around the gardens to admire his renowned work surrounded by nature. When: 10am-5pm, Tuesday to Saturday (closed Mon-Sun). 4. By the Book: Scottish women illustrators
An opportunity to see 19th and 20th century wonderland-like illustrations that helped bring books of the time to life, women to the forefront of industry, and their drawings to be seen art in their own right. 5. Snowdrop Festival, Dorset
Choose from 3 or 5km walking routes to enjoy spotting the snowdrops and beautiful scenery as you go. There’s also snowdrop lantern making workshops – and a parade to show off all the hard work – plus wine tasting afternoons, because, well, why not?
