When it comes to compassion, we’re all pretty good at doling it out to others, but how good are you at practicing it for yourself? I’m gonna guess pretty rubbish. So many of us are our own harshest critics, and the expectations we have of ourselves are usually much higher than those we hold for others.

But during this challenging and highly pressurised time, it’s more important than ever to treat ourselves gently, kindly and compassionately. Not only will it help you to stay on an even keel as we cycle through the many ups and downs that life throws at us, but it will also build your sense of confidence and self worth - something that so many of us could benefit from.
