celebrate the jubilee weekend
from picnics to parties and parades, there are lots of ways to celebrate the queens jubilee this weekend; and with two extra days off, there's no reason why we can't pull out all the stops. read on to read our recommendations for the upcoming celebrations.
2nd-5th june
expect on-street entertainment and live music in one of Londons best-loved areas. treat yourself to an afternoon tea at the covent garden hotel or stretch it out in a 1950's stretch class.
2nd June
starting off at buckingham palace, watch as over 1400 soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians join together to celebrate the jubilee. the parade will close with the RAF fly-past, as per tradition, and members of the royal family will look on from the balcony at buckingham palace.
3rd june
gather your nearest and dearest for a street party at the refuge in manchester. joined by a selection of manchester's top dj's, enjoy a drink or two and dance away the afternoon, well into the evening.
2nd-5th june
expect funfair rides, food stalls and games in birmingham's very own victoria square. with a packed four-day schedule, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
