How to Make a Herb Infused Oil With Wilder Botanics
Now that September is in full swing, we’ve settled into our ‘new normal’ and we’re perhaps busier than we have been over the past few months, our minds might be craving some routine. It’s important to squeeze in some time to take care of ourselves, in order to look after our mental and physical wellbeing. Why not take some time to think about switching to natural products that are truly good for your body and nourish your soul?
Wilder Botanics joined our collection of Thought Living products earlier this year, and their range of products are natural, organic and full of goodness. Alongside their range of delicious, detoxing teas they have also developed a selection of herb infused oils which you can find here.
Herb infused essential oils are great for the whole body. They contain natural hydrating properties that help to repair damaged skin, through natural cleansing and hydration. That’s not all though, herb infused oils are also proven to be amazing for hair growth, blood circulation, and they relax and soothe the body.
We asked Rachel from Wilder Botanics to show us how to make an oil using just two ingredients; olive oil and calendula. This is a simple way to get all the natural therapeutic benefits of an infused oil by applying it to the surface of the skin.
To make your own calendula infused oil, you will need:
- Dried calendula petals
- Olive oil
- An airtight jar
