Thoughts on working from home
One thing we all have in common right now is our normal daily schedules have been completely flipped on their heads. Whilst a lot of us have been slowly but surely getting used to our new set up, it’s definitely been a struggle! We asked a few of our team to tell us how they are adapting to working from home.
Lindsey – Design
Designing at home is an interesting challenge because I find so much inspiration from my surroundings. Not being able to go to museums, experience nature, new places means I’ve had to get creative online to find exciting art and experiences. Luckily, a lot of my favourite museums are now opportunity free virtual tours and talks to keep people inspired whilst staying at home.
Jumpsuits are my absolute favourite things to wear at home as they are really easy to throw on and look put together.

I love wearing smart (ish) clothes to get me in the right headspace for work. Making sure I have a good morning routine that I stick to is helping me achieve a better work-life balance. Stepping into bright colours also keeps me motivated and positive throughout the day!
My favourite things to wear at home are floaty tops or blouses paired with soft trousers in breathable fabrics like organic cotton or bamboo.
Lauren – Logistics
I can’t work without some form of coffee so having a lunch time iced coffee is a way to keep my office routine vs work from home routine consistent. Small rituals like this help me stay sane during weird times like these.
I don’t really mind what I’m wearing to work from home but I MUST be wearing comfortable socks at all times!

I recently cleared out my work area of random clutter and decided to be a lot more intentional with my space. Fresh leaves, a radio for laid back, calming tunes, my favourite candle for atmosphere and a nice view is all I need to make a perfect workspace.
I mostly like to keep my clothing casual as I’m jumping from working at my desk to doing activities with my kids to cooking dinner.

Even in a normal day at the office, I like to have some greenery or fresh flowers at my desk to keep me grounded. I really appreciate them now as they help me from feeling cooped up inside. I would definitely recommend picking some wildflowers on your walk or some greens from your garden to bring Spring inside.
I get cold really easily so love to layer up with natural fibres to regulate my temperature throughout the day.
Annabelle – Social Media
I just got a puppy so working from home has had to be balanced with nap time and potty training! Needing to take her out every hour gives me the opportunity to stretch my legs and get a bit of fresh air, it’s made me realise that I don’t do enough of that in general; making sure I’m not sat in the same position for hours on end. Just having a two or three minute break to walk around and take your eyes off your screen makes everything a little easier.
I love to wear our long sleeved tees and dashka slacks as I prefer to work comfortably in loungewear over a shirt and jeans.
